A brief description of the Teamwork Tower Model, created by EUROPEAN TEAMWORK CENTER, S.L.
It's use is prohibited without confirmed authorisation.

1. PARTICIPATION.
The first determining factor for teamwork in an organisation is the level of participation by its members. If the organisation has a low level of participation, it makes it difficult to tackle other stages of the model. Participation should be dealt with primarily. The possible participants include the employees, collaborators (external personnel), clients, providers, social agents, shareholders. Participation is vast and corresponds to the “stakeholders model.

2. MANAGEMENT SKILLS-LEADERSHIP
Working as a team requires a properly trained leader. In some work teams the role of the leader may change from one participant to another depending on each developmental phase. For this reason, it's necessary to know the habits and characteristics which form part of a leader: to be proactive, knowing the objectives and the goals, organising a hierarchy, creating mutual benefit situations, co-operating in order to achieve synergies, understanding the physical, emotional, mental and social dimensions of each individual are common characteristics of leaders.

3. METHODS, TECHNIQUES & SUPPORTS
Working as part of a team requires some tools which every participant must be able to use to a lesser or greater extent. The methodical analysis of inventory problems, brainstorming, positive attitudes and MBA vision. Techniques related to public speaking, meeting procedures, presentations, interviews and also the physical supports such as overhead projectors, online conferencing, adapted conference and meeting rooms etc. are all essential for successful teamwork.

4. TEAM SPIRIT
Each organisation has its values, culture, rules, past and current models of behaviour which directly affect present and future teams. No one can work in a team without sensing the overall company spirit in relation to teamwork. This spirit does not need to be written or formalised.

5. COMMUNICATION
The participants of a team communicate with each other adequately when the group communication process is known and used, therefore a real personal interaction exists. Listening is fundamental as well as knowledge of the different cultures. Think globally, act locally.

6. NEGOTIATION
The team must be able to solve problem and crisis which always arise in some form or other. Good negotiation allows barriers to be overcome and therefore encourages the team to obtaining production synergies and goal and objective realisation. It is necessary to know the phases, attitudes and techniques so as to reach agreement.

7. MOTIVATION / COMPENSATION
Motivation is basic to the human being. Both elements must be handled individually and also in a group, considering that each participant is unique and different from the rest, thus the elements of motivation and compensation can be different for each member.

8. PRODUCTION OF SYNERGIES
It's possible to work as a group but when a real production of synergies exists the participants feel it in the atmosphere and only then is it possible to work as a team. Each individual observes how the team achieves efficiency and efficacy working together thus attaining a win - win situation.

9. OBJECTIVE / GOAL
The objective and goals must be known by the team and its participants. They must be defined at a temporary, quantitative and qualitative level. Some concealed objectives for the members of the team but known by the leader or consultant can exist.

10. TEAMWORK TOWER PATTERN (Symbolised by a star.)
This level represents the success which has been achieved by following the guidelines of the model. It shows the real and lasting competitive edge which teamwork has brought about. The Teamwork Tower model can be applied to whatever area of the company, particularly to the creation of new products, innovation, quality control, re- engineering of processes and the general growth of a company.

Innovuction : Innovation + Production.

This management model called Innovuction applies a management methodology which promotes and produces innovation in the company. It is based on an integrated vision of the main functions of the company and connected and backed by the application of the Teamwork Tower model.
Innovuction combines the design (co-conception) and the execution (co-production) of innovation which facilitates successfully the launch of new products or services.
It advises on how to become a leader in the market and obtain competitive advantages.

The model is presented in three parts. The first part deals with the denominated concepts Co-Conception and Co-Production which includes the conceptualisation and putting into practice an idea or project. It requires the development of teamwork having in mind concepts and ideas from the model The Teamwork Tower. This model is the third part.

All innovation requires the contribution of every team and sector of the company and must take into consideration its effects to each and every part . In order to achieve innovation successfully and smoothly there should be a global vision in the company. The development of this global vision is the second part of the innovuction model.
